OCE, with support from Farmaceuter Utan Gränser – FuG Sverige, is conducting a three day refresher workshop for members of the Village Health Teams (VHTs). This training is focused on providing psychosocial support to clients infected with TB, HIV, and malaria for enhanced adherence to treatment, specifically among members of key, vulnerable, and priority populations in Kabale. The training is scheduled from 11 to 13 May 2021 at Highland Hotel in Kabale. According to the Assistant Health Education Officer, this will help VHTs to reach out to members of key, vulnerable, and priority populations with psychosocial support and ultimately help to improve their health outcomes.
